Located in Copenhagen’s hip meatpacking district of Vesterbro, and only a five minute walk from the central train station.
The building previously housed a standard tourist hotel run by the Andersen family. But in 2012, after a six-month renovation, it was transformed into a design-led boutique hotel to compliment the fashionable style of the Vesterbro district.
Its 79 rooms move slightly away from standard minimalistic Danish design philosophy, by offering instead functionality and a well thought-through design with modern facilities. Its two distinctive colour themes use bold striking tones of purple and fuchsia and vibrant aqua’s and turquoise from the Desginers Guild collection.
The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant, but it does offer a sushi menu from one of the best Japanese restaurants in the Vesterbro district, which delivers directly to the hotel.
Complimentary wifi in all areas of the hotel.
A buffet breakfast is served offering Danish specialities, including rye and pumpernickel bread and luxury teas from family-owned brand Osterlandsk.
